When I was outside with my dog, late at night, I looked up to the sky and I could see the Milky Way very clearly (thanks to this location where I live). I told myself that I will try to catch it on a photo next night. The next night arrived and I went up to the Oberalppass (altitude approx. 2044m and located in the Swiss Alps). Right here I started my first steps in Astrophotography. Sadly it didn’t take long time and clouds came in, so I quit after a short time. But the next new moon phase is already marked in my calendar and I hope the sky will be clear.

By the way, my initial settings were: ISO3200, 20mm, f/1.8, 30sec.
